Sucker Rods – API 11B
IPC supplies API 11B sucker rods manufactured from high-strength steel for crude oil extraction by rod pumping. The threaded design allows reliable connection with other components of the artificial lift string, ensuring consistent mechanical performance across the full rod column.
Rods are available in six external diameters from 5/8 in to 1-1/4 in, in standard lengths of 25 ft and 30 ft, as well as pony rod (cabilla corta) lengths of 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 ft — or custom dimensions on request. End types include Class T coupling, reduced diameter, and SM coupling.
Seven steel grades cover the full spectrum of well conditions: from light loads in non-corrosive environments (Grade C) to extremely heavy loads requiring maximum fatigue and corrosion tolerance (SSHS). All rods are produced to AISI alloy designations including C1541M, A4621-M, 1530M, 4142M, 4320M, and 4330M.
